Why you’d want it: The foam roller does the big muscles; this does the spots a roller cannot reach, in two minutes, sitting on the sofa. The one 'recovery' gadget that gets used every week.

Picking tip: Lowest speed, the round head, and let the gun's own weight do the work; pushing harder does not help. Thirty seconds to two minutes per muscle, and keep it off bone, the front of the neck, and anywhere you have just injected. If a spot is bruised, wait for the bruise to go.
