What to check in the listing

Be honest with yourself about what this is: a thermoelectric box that cools about 15–20 °C below the room, so on a warm day it will not hold 2–8 °C (36–46 °F). It is the right buy for privacy and for keeping vials away from children, and the wrong buy as a temperature guarantee — for that, the compressor car fridge in the Travel section runs off a wall plug and actually holds a set temperature. Whichever you choose, put a thermometer in it for a week before you trust it.
